About Mallory:
Mallory is pretty much the girl next door! She's smart, sassy, and willing to go out of her way to help someone out without expecting anything in return. She's got a strange sense of fashion and prides herself on being different from the rest of the crowd. She likes being an individual in a sea of lemmings. Although she is not as stunning to look at as some of her friends, Mallory is secure in herself and her worth. Not shy, but not really in-your face, Mallory figures that if people want to get to know her they'll take the time to talk

She's the youngest of 5 (3 brothers and 1 sister) and has been spoiled most of her life. She's had it pounded into her head since she was little that education was the best way to get ahead in life. When Mallory's letter of acceptance to Quinlan University came in the mail she was torn--she wanted to go badly, but the tuition was more than both her parents made in a year combined! (Her family isn't poor, but money has a long way to go with so many mouths!) Fortunately, the University was willing to work with her (she is very talented) and offered her a work-study for her financial aid. Of course she accepted it (after all it was better than any of the other colleges and Universities she had applied to).

Mallory's social circle is a wide one with a varied mix of guys and girls, students and adults. She likes the interaction she gets on so many different levels that sometimes she has a hard time saying good bye and calling it a day! Some of her best friends are guys (namely Merrit Daniels and Niklos Andrastos) and she treats them no differently than her female friends...although she does have a habit of teasing Merrit terribly at times.

Magically speaking, Mallory has a lot of talent but can't always access it. She has been told repeatedly that she has put up blocks to releasing it and until she can figure out how to lower them she will not attain her full potential. She is always willing to research some archaic magic or myth and spends more of her free time in the university library than anywhere else (so it's not a bad thing that part of her workstudy puts her there!). Currently, Mallory has a good knack for enchantments.

Mallory is now in her sophomore year (2nd) at Quinlan and has gotten used to her bosses, Ms. Imogen Stafford and Professor Augustus (August) Taschen. She respects both of them, and likes Ms. Stafford a lot since they have a love of knowledge in common. Mallory has a crush on Professor Taschen, and tries to do what she can to be useful to him and bring herself to his attention. Mallory is just as much at home with a cup of cocoa and a good book as she is swinging with friends at the local clubs...where she always hopes to see August!

Hobbies & Interests: Reading.Research. Fashion. Books. Mallory likes arts and crafts, including candlemaking and sewing. She loves to go hiking and will do so at the smallest excuse. One of the reasons she likes Quinlan so much is that it has so much space around it to explore.
